Charles Stephan of Charles Creature Cabinet attended GoGaDoll 2009 as a Guest of  Honor.  He was accompanied by his sister Linda of Lin Murasaki Designs who creates the diminutive outfits for the CCC dolls.  He is still recovering from his trip and catching up on things at home, but he sent some shots from his trip and sent us this:

Thanks so much to everybody who organized, attended, arranged and/or performed at the GoGaDoll Convention. It was all so very wonderful and overwhelming and was an honour to be Guests of Honor
My sister Linda of Lin Murasaki Designs and I had an amazing and fun time.

We would like to say a special ‘thank you’ to:
Kelly & Robert, Alex, Katie, Julia, Rima, Yvonne, Daniel, Lucius, Zagzagael and so many others… Also thank you to all who brought us extra props from their own gardens/homes for the CCC Display (wooden branches, tree trunks, mushrooms…absolutely wonderful you helped us and saved our day!)

And I personally would like to thank all our CCC fans & CCC doll owners: thank you so much for especially attending the con to come and see the CCC Display / and or attending at the CCC interview, or meet Linda and me in person, it’s much appreciated and makes us so happy to know that we are able to touch hearts internationally with our work ~ awesome!

We were so glad to see that our two diminutive donations (Boneka Kayu’s) we’re so happily received  Thanks for the great pictures too !

So thanks again everybody for all your hard work & everything. It was our great pleasure, and hopefully we can come back next year!

Friday June 19^th 2009:

Cocktail Party, Opening Ceremonies; Kelly Haines officially opened the Con. The Guests of Honor: I briefly spoke and Pan (Peak’s Wood) and Pasu (Doll Heart) made a short speech. The Cocktail party was festive and fun. There were wonderful hors d’houvres, wine, and door prizes. One little Kayu was handed over to a lucky winner (An Mang of Imagecraft Photostudio).

Saturday June 20^th 2009:

Linda and I set up the CCC dolls on Display in the Display room at 8AM.  At 1PM  at the Charles’ Creature Cabinet Panel, Kelly introduced me and I was interviewed by Kelly (30 min) and I answered questions from the audience (30 min).  It was absolutely great to meet fans, customers, friends, and fellow doll artists /colleagues.

Sunday June 21^st 2009:

Meeting all our friends, fans, customers and colleagues.  I Talked to a lot of old and new friends in the Vendor Room.  BJD Wedding Ceremonies were held by Daniel Chin. The Closing Ceremonies were run by Kelly, Alex, Katie, and Yvonne.
