Kim Lasher of Kimberly Lasher Originals sent the first photos from IDEX this morning. Her new 23″ BJD, Simply Alice, won a DOTY (Doll of the Year) award. Pictured here are some of her dolls on display in the Main Hall.

Kim’s dolls are limited editions, so the dolls have been sold out for a while. She is always designing new ones, and occasionally some come up on eBay. (There have been some eBay scammers selling her dolls, so verify that the person owns the doll by seeing if they have or requesting a photo of the doll with a paper hand written with their eBay ID before you bid.) The best way to find out when the dolls are available is through Kim’s Yahoo group. If you go to the main page of Kim’s BJD site, scroll to the bottom and you will see a link that says “Join us on our Yahoo Group for the latest updates”. Click that and join.
She also sells through certain retailers. You should check out the stores that carry her work regularly, but the dolls usually sell out very quickly.
